CEMENT INDUSTRY
Reclaim conveyors are used to move raw
material, usually stocked in bulk on the
ground in sheds or silos. The reclaim
conveyor is usually a twin strand scraper
conveyor with the bottom strand used
to scrape the material on the ground to a
distribution conveyor, usually a belt conveyor. Because of the
arduous duties involved, these chains usually have quite high
breaking loads ( i.e 500kN to1500kN) and are manufactured
to either ISO or German DIN standards. Specially designed
chains are used for particularly arduous conditions.
